POSITION BRIEF:

The profile of the Consultant is to provide day to day technical support to JEEViKA State Project Management Unit (SPMU) for extending needful coordination in building and nurturing JEEViKA HNS vertical as a National Resource Organization. The incumbent is expected to work closely with SPM-HN, JEEViKA and shall be housed within the JEEViKA State Project Management Unit (SPMU)

Key Deliverables:

KEY DELIVERABLE­­­­­­­­­­­­

  1. Supporting JEEViKA to function as National Resource Organization on FHNW-:
  2. Helping JEEViKA to develop Resource blocks on Health and Nutrition vertical with the overall objective of creating blocks for demonstrating the best practices.
  3. Coordinating with the Technical Support Agency and the Resource Cell of JEEViKA for identification and capacity building of Community Resource Persons (CRPs) on HNS theme.
  4. Support the state team in liaising with NRLM and other SRLMs for showcasing and sharing the learning from JEEViKA for indigenizing Health & Nutrition interventions.
  5. Facilitate the State JEEViKA team in extending support to SRLMs for designing the HNS component of the FHNW mandate and also leverage needful support and consultation of the Technical Support agency in this regard.

 

  • Provide Coordination support for ensuring smooth implementation of HNS interventions with a focus on Capacity building-
  1. Support the establishment of a smooth coordination mechanism between the state, districts, and block teams for tracking program progress.
  2. Work closely with JTSP team in planning and roll out of FNHW modules.

 

  • Support in Documentation and Monitoring and Review-
  1. Provide support to the State HNS team in obtaining data from the field team and collating the same.
  2. Provide data and reports as per programmatic requirements to support program tracking.
  3. Undertake data analysis and prepare presentations for sharing with the district and block teams.
  4. Help in preparation of reports, concept notes, case studies as and when required for submission in house as well as to external stakeholders.

About the Project -– JEEViKA Technical Support Program (JTSP):

The JEEViKA Technical Support Program (JTSP) is a flagship program of Project Concern International (PCI) in Bihar, funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. In its earlier phase between 2015 to 2021, JTSP has successfully supported in the demonstration, layering and integration of health and nutrition, into the operational framework of JEEViKA (the Bihar Rural Livelihoods Society). JTSP has supported JEEViKA to deliver a range of reproductive, maternal, newborn and child health and nutrition outcomes, through an at scale social behaviour change package and has enabled JEEViKA’s transformation into a model State Rural Livelihoods Mission, which embraces Health and Nutrition into its overall mandate. The current phase of this work, called JTSP II, seeks to transition skills and capabilities to JEEViKA to drive HN strategies at scale through its systems and network of community-based organizations.

Recruitment Process
