Qualification Required

  • Post-Graduate in Gender Studies / Women Studies / Population Science / Demography / Development Studies / any other relevant field.

Experience Required

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in program/project monitoring and evaluation, program management, designing and conducting program evaluation of development programs.

Skills and Competencies

  • Possess leadership skill and is decisive, action oriented and adaptable.
  • Strong networking and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to work against tight timelines.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
  • Knowledge of advanced data analysis Software
  • Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi and Odia.
  • Willingness to travel to the field.

About the Roles and Responsibilities

Project Monitoring and Design

  • S/he will be part of the core team based at the state office and support the Project Director in implementation of GTM project related activities.
  • Support in developing action plan for effective ground level implementation of project deliverables.
  • Work closely with the OLM and provide inputs on quality intervention for effective program implementation.
  • Support SMMU/DMMU/BMMU in developing Annual Action plan.
  • Develop evaluation framework / Results Framework including project performance and impact indicators, targets, and milestones.

Reporting, Documentation and Dissemination

  • Monitor monthly progress, data collection, consolidation, triangulation, quality assurance of various reports.
  • Develop monthly, quarterly, or annual reports depending on project requirements.
  • Prepare and disseminate the periodic reports to donors and other stakeholders.
  • Document best practices and share the Learnings across the Organization and different platforms.
  • Design content for Knowledge Products for mass publication, training and workshop.
  • Attend workshops, seminars, learning events etc. and represent the project at all levels.
  • Support in training, orientations and workshops at State, district and block level
  • Any other activities as entrusted by the Project Director and the organization.

About the Project

PCI has been engaged by a leading international philanthropy to provide Technical Assistance in Odisha that seeks to achieve the integration of gender with the programming of Odisha Livelihoods Mission (OLM) in selected blocks of 30 districts. The thrust area is to address gender inequalities by focusing on: a) Ensuring freedom of women from discrimination, atrocities and violence, b) Ensuring women’s access to their social protection, rights, and entitlements, c) Strengthening the identity of women and women-led community-based institutions and d) Creating Institutions of Women for Sustaining Change. PCI currently has a state team based at Bhubaneshwar and a district team of DCCs under this Project to provide support in program implementation in 30 districts of Odisha.

Recruitment Process

  4. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend one or more rounds of panel interview/s.
