Position Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Consultant specializing in Communication and Knowledge Management to join our team. This role involves preparing comprehensive reports, drafting high-quality funding proposals, and creating engaging communication materials. The consultant will also play a crucial role in managing and disseminating knowledge across the organization.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Report and Documentation Development:
- Prepare detailed project reports, periodic progress updates, and organizational reports including donor and government submissions.
- Document best practices, case studies, and lessons learned to continually improve project outcomes and knowledge sharing.
- Proposal and Concept Note Creation: Draft high-quality proposals and concept notes by conducting thorough research to align with the expectations and focus areas of grantors or donors.
- Communication Materials Design:
- Develop collaterals consistent with our communication strategy to promote PCI effectively, establishing it as a leader in its field.
- Target key audiences including governments, corporations, funding agencies, philanthropists, and development partners to forge new partnerships.
- Outreach Material Production: Create impactful outreach materials for major projects, including briefs, brochures, presentations, infographics, web content, blog posts, newsletters, and opinion pieces as when required.
- Policy Research and Analysis:
- Assist in policy research and analysis to support ongoing projects and the development of new proposals as needed.
- Compile research findings to identify and recommend effective practices.
- Facilitate the dissemination of research and findings through policy briefs, technical notes, and other relevant documents to stakeholders both within and outside the organization, ensuring that critical information reaches those who can enact change
- Knowledge Management:
- Assist in the development and rollout of the Knowledge Management Framework, enhancing the organization’s capacity to manage and efficiently utilize information.
- Work with various teams to ensure that the knowledge management strategy is integrated with broader organizational learning strategies.
- Suggest user-friendly tools and processes to foster a culture of knowledge sharing with the organization.
