Qualification required: Bachelor’s degree in any recognized field or equivalent. Applicants who have passed 12th grade with a minimum of 55% and meet the eligibility criteria may also apply.
• Experience required:
1. 2-3 years of field implementation experience.
2. Experience working on technical assistance projects with the government.
3. Experience working with women’s community institutions (Self Help Groups).
4. Understanding of non-governmental organization operations.

• Skills & Attributes:
1. Proficiency in Hindi .
2. Understanding of gender issues and mobility challenges in rural India.
3. People management skills.

Position Brief:

The Cluster Level Federation Coordinator will be crucial in implementing the electric bicycle pilot project. This role involves overseeing project activities within designated clusters (2-3), coordinating with CLFs, and ensuring effective execution of capacity-building, technical support, and program evaluation components. The coordinator will work closely with local stakeholders, including Energy Champions, and contribute to the project’s goal of empowering rural women through sustainable transportation solutions.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Serve as the primary liaison between PCI India, JEEViKA, CLFs, Village Organizations, SHGs, and other stakeholders.
2. Oversee daily project activities within the assigned clusters.
3. Support CLF in identification of motivated and capable women entrepreneurs as Energy Champions.
4. Coordinate mobilization camps and awareness events to promote the benefits of electric bicycles.
5. Support the distribution of electric bicycles and facilitate the establishment of the bicycle ecosystem through community-level financing.
6. Coordinate with Energy Champions to ensure effective delivery and maintenance of bicycles.
7. Organize technical training sessions and refresher courses for CLF members and project beneficiaries.
8. Build strong relationships with project beneficiaries, community members, CLFs, and other local organizations.
9. Maintain and submit periodic project records to help build a repository to assess progress and document evidence.
10. Capture and document success stories and lessons learned for dissemination and future reference.

About the Project
The project aims to empower rural women in Bihar by introducing electric bicycles as a sustainable mobility solution as a pilot. This initiative, part of the ‘Sustainable Transport for Rural Entrepreneurs through Electric Cycles’ (S.T.R.E.E.) program, focuses on enhancing women’s economic opportunities, reducing time poverty, and promoting environmental sustainability. Key activities include capacity building, technical training, and developing an electric bicycle ecosystem in collaboration with stakeholders like JEEViKA and IIT Bombay. PCI India will support the deployment of electric cargo cycles, selection of women as Energy Champions, and the Capacity Building, documentation and dissemination of project insights.

Recruitment Process
