  • Location: Work requirements either form PCI Lucknow office or Government Department.
  • Salary Range: Competitive salary commensurate with experience

  • Qualification required: Advanced university degree in Communication, Journalism, Public Relations from reputed colleges like IIMC, SIMC, MICA, Amity School of Communication, Xavier Institute of Communication etc.
  • Experience required:
  1. Five years of relevant and progressively responsible professional work experience in communication, new media, partnerships particularly for Government at National and or state level etc.
  2. Demonstrated experience in engaging and partnering with different key stakeholders like Government departments, local level, academic institutes and Corporates etc.
  3. Demonstrable experience in content generation for development sector projects around social media and websites for Government Departments at National and or State level.
  • Skill and Competencies: Strong communication skills including academic writing and partnership skills. Preference will be given to candidates comfortable with writing in Hindi and English

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

 Partnership Management:-

 

  1. Support to strengthen strategic partnership with Government departments, Corporates, Academic Institutes and local communities.
  2. Support in identification of new partnership opportunities particularly with Corporates to facilitate achievement of programmatic goal of Livelihoods planning for ultra-poor households.
  3. Support in creation and implementation of partnership agreements, ensuring clear objectives and mutual benefits as per the guidance of supervisor.
  4. Coordinate and collaborate with implementation partners and internal project team to align partnership activities with programmatic goals.
  5. Facilitate representing the organization at external meetings, forums, and conferences to showcase the impact of the technical assistance provided by PCI India for strengthening partnerships.
  6. Undertake field visits as and when required and support the documentation of human-interest stories and best practices from the field including anecdotes and pictures that highlight the impact of projects for which PCI is providing Technical Assistance.
  7. Work closely with staff in project and PCI state office to support seamless flow of knowledge and information for the purpose of reporting to the donor.
  8. Participate in organisational meetings/workshops and represent the project status/outcomes in the same.
  • Corporate Communication
    1. Support development and execution of corporate communication strategies that promote the on boarding of Corporates, Donors towards fulfilling the objectives of the project.
    2. Facilitate in the creation of compelling content (e.g., presentations, newsletters, press releases, social media posts, website content) that communicates the key achievements under the project.
    3. Oversee filming, sound recording, and photography of human-interest stories in the field, ensuring high-quality outputs by the selected team.
    4. Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to ensure that communications and partnerships are aligned with the objectives of project.

About the Project

PCI India has been providing Technical Assistance (TA) support to Government of Uttar Pradesh (GoUP) for a technology driven poverty alleviation, social protection, financial inclusion and livelihoods planning initiative. The role requires to closely work with senior leadership of Government, coordination with multiple welfare departments and implementation partners. Further, the project also entails collaboration with Academia and Corporate Houses for ensuring sustainable poverty alleviation for the identified ultra-poor households.

Recruitment Process
