I am Aasif. I come from a small town where gang violence, and crime are on every corner. My father was part of this gang and my mother had to leave him. We had no power to report. This got me thinking on doing law and crime investigation. Now I seriously want to pursue it and will need your assistance to study.

I love animals and my goal is to become a veterinarian, primarily serving rescue organizations and animal shelters. I want to be able to work with rescues to provide affordable veterinary medicine to the animals they save.

I am Ankit. I was very young when I lost my father due to an electrical accident. After his demise, I see my mother trapped in a burden of responsibility to take care of the family as a daily wager. Poverty ceased away my studies and childhood.

Thankfully, I was identified by a Good Samaritan and shifted to the PCI Children Home, which is offering me shelter and study opportunities. I want to take this opportunity to complete my schooling and grow further to take care of my mother.

I have always been fascinated by seeing aeroplanes flying in the sky. I have never had the opportunity to fly, but someday, I will make it for myself.

My mother struggled to make ends meet, so I moved to PCI Children Home, and this is my launchpad now! I am studying hard, becoming self-disciplined and aspiring to do good in life.
One day I will get employed, earn money and buy myself a flight ticket.

PCI Children home has changed everything for me. I go to G.P.S. Bhango, a school close by. My English teacher is inspiring me in ways I could have never imagined. She got me to love writing, literature, and everything about the English language. She is making me want to be a better student in all my classes and is helping me see the value of education.

Now I have decided that I want to inspire other students just as she did for me and seek your support in it.

15th February 2019! I still remember the first day I stepped into PCI Children Home. Coming from a family of 7 siblings, it was anything but hard for my mother to fend for us. I lost my father two years back. I want to grow up and find a decent source of employment to keep my mother happy and unburden her. I want her to be proud of my accomplishments. Hi! I am Junaid. I lost my father to tuberculosis, and with him, I lost my childhood too. My mother found it hard to sustain seven of my siblings and I felt my life spilling on to the street. I have never known what a real home was until I was identified and moved to a lovely place, I now call my home – PCI Children Home!

Like many other kids of my age, I have dreams, and I want to complete my basic and higher education. It is you who can help me come out with flying colours by contributing to my education in this digitally inclusive world.

Square peg in a round hole! Yes, you read it right. That was me, Manish, for a couple of years when I lost my mother, and my father left me with my maternal aunt. Today I am 12 years old and fitting in well in PCI Children Home.

Having seen abuse through my early childhood, I was identified by a counsellor and brought to PCI Children Home during the summers of 2010. I was in 1st std then. Today I am in 12th

I was infact sent to the Child Welfare Committee, Kanpur to find my home. They transferred me back to the PCI Childrens home, as luck would have it.

I am now leading a happy life and would look forward for your support for my higher studies

I always hoped that I would have superpowers one day. I thought that the ability to fly or be invisible will enable me to fight crime. That was my idea of making a difference in the world. Now that I have grown up at PCI Children home and find myself having to make important career decisions, I realize that I wish to become a Police Officer. With a more realistic perception of life, I believe that this is truly an effective way to make a difference in our world. Help me make that difference?

Ever seen sunshine mixed with a hurricane? Yes? That’s how I’d like to describe myself.  I am Sunni, and as my name suggests, I am filled with enthusiasm and positive energy, but life isn’t hunky-dory for me. The biggest hurricane came in when my father passed away and I had to give up on my education because I wanted my siblings to live a life free of compromises. But destiny had planned something else for me and brought me to this PCI Children Home.

This place which I call HOME is giving me food, shelter, love and education.

I want to fly high and grow as a responsible individual who can support his siblings and family. I don’t want my name to be a paradox of any sort.

The number thirteen is symbolically extremely strong and puts one to test. It was at the age of 13 when I lost my father to an unfortunate accident. It is also undeniable that the number 13 triggers very contrasting reactions. Since my mother couldn’t raise all my siblings well with the meagre income after my father passed away, I was sent to PCI Children Home. This was my first ray of hope.

Fast forward to present, I want to become a teacher to inspire and educate young people who could go on to win Padma awards or Nobel prizes.
