Aadil
Amidst the pandemic, I was brought here as my mother could not support all my siblings economically.
Now I have started growing interest in studies and seek your support for my higher studies.
Your small donation can change the course of my life!
Aasif
Thank you for stopping by
I am Aasif. I come from a small town where gang violence, and crime are on every corner. My father was part of this gang and my mother had to leave him. We had no power to report. This got me thinking on doing law and crime investigation. Now I seriously want to pursue it and will need your assistance to study.
Let’s join hands to tackle crime together.

My stay at the PCI Children home completes 5 years!
I love animals and my goal is to become a veterinarian, primarily serving rescue organizations and animal shelters. I want to be able to work with rescues to provide affordable veterinary medicine to the animals they save.
Your support would help me continue my education and potentially save thousands of abandoned animals in the future.
Ankit
Stop for a moment and listen to my story!
I am Ankit. I was very young when I lost my father due to an electrical accident. After his demise, I see my mother trapped in a burden of responsibility to take care of the family as a daily wager. Poverty ceased away my studies and childhood.
Thankfully, I was identified by a Good Samaritan and shifted to the PCI Children Home, which is offering me shelter and study opportunities. I want to take this opportunity to complete my schooling and grow further to take care of my mother.
Contribute if you care for my dreams!
Arman
I have always been fascinated by seeing aeroplanes flying in the sky. I have never had the opportunity to fly, but someday, I will make it for myself.
My mother struggled to make ends meet, so I moved to PCI Children Home, and this is my launchpad now! I am studying hard, becoming self-disciplined and aspiring to do good in life.
One day I will get employed, earn money and buy myself a flight ticket.
Can you help me soar higher?

PCI Children home has changed everything for me. I go to G.P.S. Bhango, a school close by. My English teacher is inspiring me in ways I could have never imagined. She got me to love writing, literature, and everything about the English language. She is making me want to be a better student in all my classes and is helping me see the value of education.
Now I have decided that I want to inspire other students just as she did for me and seek your support in it.

Junaid
Hi! I am Junaid. I lost my father to tuberculosis, and with him, I lost my childhood too. My mother found it hard to sustain seven of my siblings and I felt my life spilling on to the street. I have never known what a real home was until I was identified and moved to a lovely place, I now call my home – PCI Children Home!
Like many other kids of my age, I have dreams, and I want to complete my basic and higher education. It is you who can help me come out with flying colours by contributing to my education in this digitally inclusive world.
We may not meet in person ever, but I shall be forever grateful for your support!
Manish
Square peg in a round hole! Yes, you read it right. That was me, Manish, for a couple of years when I lost my mother, and my father left me with my maternal aunt. Today I am 12 years old and fitting in well in PCI Children Home.
I am learning to lead a punctual and disciplined life to access a better tomorrow. I want to organise my actions and act on my life and grow further.
A little help from your end would go a long way in my life!
Mohit
We don’t always get what we deserve, they said. But it has been a misnomer in my case. Hi, I am Mohit and with pride, I can say that PCI Children Home has given the best start to my life.
It turned out tough for my parents to provide for my needs and I was moved to my happy place- PCI Children Home. I study, I play
I am passionate about sports and want to be a sportsperson. I also want to complete my graduation to be the most educated in my family.
Want to join me in making my small dreams come true? You can do your bit by showering in support.

“It is hard to imagine where I would be if I weren’t given protection, housing, food and education, if I didn’t have PCI Children Home to guide me through rough times’’
– Parveen
I along with my brother, Ankit was sent to PCI Children Home since our mother couldn’t take care of our economic needs.
I am only glad that I am now in a safer place with opportunities.
I aspire to become a doctor and serve my society for which your support is crucial.

From Railway station to Classrooms.
Yes, that’s how far I have come!
Having seen abuse through my early childhood, I was identified by a counsellor and brought to PCI Children Home during the summers of 2010. I was in 1st std then. Today I am in 12th
I was infact sent to the Child Welfare Committee, Kanpur to find my home. They transferred me back to the PCI Childrens home, as luck would have it.
I am now leading a happy life and would look forward for your support for my higher studies

Ever seen sunshine mixed with a hurricane? Yes? That’s how I’d like to describe myself. I am Sunni, and as my name suggests, I am filled with enthusiasm and positive energy, but life isn’t hunky-dory for me. The biggest hurricane came in when my father passed away and I had to give up on my education because I wanted my siblings to live a life free of compromises. But destiny had planned something else for me and brought me to this PCI Children Home.
This place which I call HOME is giving me food, shelter, love and education.
I want to fly high and grow as a responsible individual who can support his siblings and family. I don’t want my name to be a paradox of any sort.
A little support from you would help me to reach my dreams.

The number thirteen is symbolically extremely strong and puts one to test. It was at the age of 13 when I lost my father to an unfortunate accident. It is also undeniable that the number 13 triggers very contrasting reactions. Since my mother couldn’t raise all my siblings well with the meagre income after my father passed away, I was sent to PCI Children Home. This was my first ray of hope.
Fast forward to present, I want to become a teacher to inspire and educate young people who could go on to win Padma awards or Nobel prizes.
I see an opportunity to make a difference, and this is where I need your support.
Enabling the Lost Childhood!!
Home is not only about having a roof over one’s head. Home is where one feels nurtured, secure and inspired to chase one’s dreams. But there are children who do not get to experience these joys of life.
Understanding the needs of the young, PCI India has set up a children’s home to provide a ray of hope to lighten up children’s lives and become a launchpad for their infinite dreams. PCI started the Vulnerable Children and Youth (VCY) Program in 2000 to address the needs of the marginalized and disadvantaged children and youth with the belief that if the basic needs are met, a child’s ability to take control over his/her future strengthens. With a steadfast commitment to improving the life opportunities for the most vulnerable children, PCI India began its journey working directly with street children in three sired in Delhi (India) – Nizamuddin Railway Station, Mori Gate near Red Fort (old Delhi) and in New Seemapuri urban slums in 2000. PCI opened a Shelter Home for the poor and marginalized children in a rented place at Wazirabad in North East Delhi that gave shelter to some of the neediest boys who came from these intervention sites. Later in April 2005, PCI moved the Children Home to the rural environment of Nuh (erstwhile Mewat), Haryana – a two-hour drive from Delhi. In September 2012, the Shelter Home got registered as a Child Care Institution under Section 34 (3) of Juvenile Justice (Care & Protection of Children) Act, 2000. Since then, the Shelter Home is also known as ‘Children Home’ and closely monitored by the Haryana State Child Welfare Department under the Ministry of Child and Women Development, Government of India.
Edward Albert had aptly said- “The simple act of caring is heroic”. We, at PCI India, are working tirelessly to make sure that the children in our homes feel protected and go on to learn and thrive. We aim to build an inclusive, safe, and just world for all children.
You, too, can do your bit.
Come, help us bring smiles to the children’s faces.
