JTSP’s fame fascinated social media for experimentation on the promotion of the social problems like health, nutrition, family planning through the digital platform. Facebook has taken the initiative in this direction. A joint team of Facebook and BMGF has developed an interesting insight on the issue and gaps through a field visit in JTSP focus area. The pilot will be based on social networks such as Facebook to create peer-learning communities that can play a vital role in accelerating outcomes.
The planned modus-operandi of the pilot will use digital platforms for information dissemination, peer-to-peer learning, improved intent for a specific behaviour, gamification of tasks, and nudges engaging a wide variety of users like women, frontline health workers, facility nurses, and JEEViKA cadres. The pilot intends to measure the efficacy of the digital platform in the social sector. The pilot’s learning will set the stage for creating and delivering content for beneficiaries and engaging them through social media channels.
